A pair of beautiful duck egg blue bedside cabinets with beautiful apple blossom and sparrow detailing.
These have three drawers in each cabinet, the bottom one being a double-height drawer.
They were cleaned, sanded, and cleaned again. They were then given two coats of primer. Another light sand and then, and only then did the painting begin.
They were finished in General Finishes Persian blue (which is duck egg in colour) In all they had three coats of paint and were allowed to dry before adding the apple blossom.
They were finally given 4 coats of varnish to ensure they have maximum protection.
Finally, new glass bubble handles were fitted. Clear, so as not to detract from the apple blossom detailing.
All the drawer interiors were cleaned and finished with lemon oil to nourish the wood and leave a subtle lemon scent.

These are beautiful, well-made pieces which are in good condition but, as with all pre-loved furniture, it may show the odd sign of its age.
