Totally unique, one-off piece of furniture that could be used for bedroom storage or as a statement piece in other rooms.

Lebus mid-century chest with 5 drawers, the top one being jewellery or makeup drawer due to its shallow depth. All drawers have dovetail joints. It still has the original makers label inside the top draw.

It combines black and gold with elegance.

This was thoroughly prepped with the old varnish being stripped off, cleaned, sanded and cleaned again. The paint was then applied, 4 coats in total of General Finishes lamp black milk paint. A satin finish varnish was applied and the geometric design wad added using Pebeo gilding wax in Empire Gold.

The handles have been replaced with a complementary Art Deco design in gold and silver.
